Insane identity- part 2

Meenadevi’s husband returned from gulf country for good. The day he was coming back, there were many relatives who gathered at their home. His old mother could not sleep the night before thinking what her gulf son is going to do here in Mumbai.

She did not share her fears with Daughter-in-law or nor other sons or daughters. Meenadevi continued her dabba business as usual. But her husband found it not easy to adjust with comfort living. He turned frequent visitor to bars of all kinds. His mom’s fears were right.

Many Indian middle class wants the change in a day which hardly comes in a day, but years together. So, same way her son went through the cycle of lost identity, falling down, picking himself up, did the reality check and started tailoring. Grounded, his mom became happy, as they were from the tailoring family.

Meantime, wife is the one who stood rock-solid seeing all these developments. Most of the Indian women stay by the side of their husband in thick and thin like Meenadevi did.

Toast to all Indian women.

Merit score

Raghav had a very sober brought up. Hence, just like any other 19/20th century folks, he too had tough time to catch up in life.  But he fought really hard to come to limelight. Here, limelight indicates he entered every field and completed each task with ‘ merit’.

But, living in the present is something Raghav missed. Each day he thinks what if world comes to an end tomorrow! ‘What if my son doesn’t turn up the way I wanted’, ‘uff what if people think I am from a sober background’. Thus these thoughts of Raghav gave him unhappy hiccups every now and then.

If the merit can do wonders, why can’t Raghav trust the same and live simply in the present? Many a times, the best judge for us is ourself and living in the present could be done by merit and merit only.

Thus, there is no alternative to merit and thus merit score matters everywhere, be it job be it life 🙂

Old is gold

Not only the corporate world, but also the NGO world, too works hard.

This vacation was able to see how the missionary works are handled. Met one of the most charismatic nun of Sneha Sadan. The way each inmate is taken care is exemplary.

Old is gold, so is the way, golds, who are discarded for not being diamonds are appreciated and preserved with esteem respect by missionary.

My heart and soul goes with those who care and for those who are taken care of.

Immobile world

We have accounts at all important sites, life is made, immobile. No need to visit shops, no need to cook, no need to step out of home.

No more real meetings but so many virtual meetings happen at various chat room sessions. I had heard one female talking very sweetly about the way she looks. Well, but what’s been said was not the one I saw!!!

I have a friend who says Quantana is my girl, she gives me company and hence no marriage required. This is a female adviser encrypted in one famous mobile brand.

Another guy logs in as a lady to know how other men folks behave online!!! Well, these kind of crazy ideas and its testing can happen only in virtual heaven.

All cyber findings would definitely make man/woman immobile after few more years to come. All humans would reduce to mere masses, as many organs become redundant.

Evolution for better or worse?!

Parrot and the Lion

This was one among the short story I tell Aashu.

A Lion in a forest started behaving very childish. Eventhough, zebra and hippo respected him, they couldn’t empathize much. For them, a lion should be behaving like a king and not lesser than that.

Lion got dejected and fled to another kingdom. There he saw the real lion who pounced on prey and eat it at no time. Still it couldn’t get his vigour. Then came tiger, a ferocious one, but wiser. He suggested lion to go and meet Parrot. It was the oldest member in the forest who can guide him to be a success. Lion gave it a thought and searched and met Parrot.

Meantime, tiger had sent his lion to bichara lion’s kingdom. The ruthlessness of new king made all members to yearn for their kind king. There, our lion got essence of becoming a good king from Parrot. New forest invited him to become king. But our king wanted to be back to his place.

Thus he came back to his kingdom wanted. His friends zebra and hippo thus again became happy.

Ferocious lion kept its ferocity, disliked by all. And his kingdom members joined our elite lions kingdom and all lived happily.

Turningpoint is lion meeting Parrot or lion deciding to search for an answer?

Are we there?

We may not be the one who are privileged, still we live our life happily.

We may not be the one who come as elite community, still we understand the need of other human

We may not be the one with most sophisticated gadgets, still we reach out to our dear ones without prejudice

Thats why everyone calls us ‘human’ with ‘humanity’ in place.

Are we all there at all times?

It is a good check to get back to where we started and to know where we drifted.

Support without judging

Had seen one lady crying profusely on the road and her friend with all strength giving her the much needed shoulder. It’s better not to judge.

Had seen a sweeper change her comfort timing to be with her colleague who sweeps early in the morning. Support unjudgementally!

Chennai rains brought pain in the air, all stranded brothers and sisters and their sad calls, unite us. Support without judging.

Life – A full circle?

Its an irony or is it just reality when we are about to say, life has come to a full circle, a deviation happens!

We are all in the hope that one day things are going to be better or worse (for the cynics). Deviations as I said germinated in our cells by God particles as far as my beliefs are concerned.

It is soothing or dramatic to have changes. Also, challenging.
