A Diamond Heart

Down an alley, there lived two ghosts, one brown one white

Ghost have two things in common; frown and hence freckles

Living at alley, they hide their sinister plans

They looted good hearts, they looted their mental peace

Ghosts and their chase continued as they hide everything in the alley

One day, a diamond heart came their way!

They hit it, chase it, pound it

Alas, ghosts could not do much

All knew with time, ghosts are powerful, ghosts are deceitful

An end came when ghosts lost their fight with a single diamond heart…

Forgotten Craft

Fellow Human 1: I forgot part of some art or fully some other art, which I was good at!!

Fellow Human 2: I chisle out daily, hence I hardly forget! But yes, you need to give my brain sometime to respond if it is an old art. Alas, I wonder how do you survive?!

FH1: Well, I tell other craftsmen, “you do not know anything”!

FH2: Well, do they not question you?

FH1: Ha, Ha, Ha, poor fellows they breed on my findings and I get upper hand in everything that way..

FH2: Hmm….

FH1: What happened? You do not have another question for me?!

FH2: Well, I was thinking to enhance my skills. But you have nothing. I am heading to learn. Sorry for myself, I wasted my time..

Each face has a story to tell

We read it or ignore it.

Each face has a story to tell.

Some are good, some are painful,

We accept it and empathize with it.

Each face has story to tell.

Well, face is a mirror to inner self

Keeping it human, keeping it real.

Artificial intelligence is the new machine

Replacing human, let it stay at factories

As each face has a story to tell.

So many stories, so many lives

We grow with it and learn from these

Each face has a story to tell.

Picking stones are easy, throwing it also easy

Face is changed, life is changed!

Each face has a story to tell.

World is a stage and each story is here and there

Being part of the drama, enjoying the journey

As we all are each face……

Plan B decides

Throw the coin, throw the coin! Person 1, a drunkard shouts. A game played among drunkards was in progress. Person 2 heard this and shouts, throw the coin , throw the coin!

Security at the gate was waiting to return home from the day long guarding. He ran across and saw why the coin game at the time of closing!?

All drunkards wanted head! If they get head, they would continue drinking and if not they leave. Leaving wasn’t quite appealing to them! They wanted bartender to throw the coin. He was waiting for maximum clearance that day and was expecting a head too.

Probability of getting a tail comes as Plan B. All chronically addicted could not anyways understand the impact of Plan B.

Plan B decides….

Faith

Once there lived a crow. It has all the people who considered it as god crow and not scary crow, because it had a bulged head. So, this bulged head crow (let’s name it bulgy) has a routine too! Getting up early morning, knocking village priest’s door and then waiting near sanctum sanctorum. People who came to pray at temple considered it lucky to see bulgy on top of the temple. Rest of the day, bulgy would be seen near ‘prasadam’ counter enjoying the crumbs of prasadam.

It’s fellow brothers and sisters always considered it lucky as it wasn’t a scavenger like them. But bulgy was lonely! It wanted to trade anything to be a normal crow who hardly have a routine.

One day a small girl sympathised with bulgy, tied a string around it and took it to her home. With lots of resistance, bulgy became part of Neena’s family. All habits die hard!! Hence bulgy daily gave a knock to near by door and tried to sit at a height!

Neena’s family used to pray to bulgy when it was at temple. Now, they started shooing it away. With heavy heart bulgy understood the very truth of life! Place, occasion and habit matters!

There lived a tiny rat at the attic who saw bulgy’s dilemma. It said “not to bother bulgy, be a crow”. Bulgy thought that is a better idea and it left indoors and came outdoors. It understood what freedom is, how flying in the sky gives a kick. Crows out there showed difference when they saw the bulged head one. Later, they took him as their own clan.

But eagles!!?? Mighty eagles did not like the special crow, because it could fly same height as them! They confronted it one day. But the calm poised look on it’s face made them think otherwise. The faith that bulgy is a lucky bird prevailed till the very going…

This way or that way

To reach destination, travel this way or that way,

Journey may have crest, troughs, curves, twists this way or that way.

Hold the dreams tight, so that blocks jumped, path hindered hardly cause a ripple this way or that way.

A melody ought to play in these paths to keep up the vigour this way or that way,

Be at the mercy of nature this way or that way.

Many have travelled this way or that way,

Follow only your heart, your spirit this way or that way.

Noise, noisy decibels too block the heart path, this way or that way,

Inner wisdom to wrap it this way or that way.

Journey with a purpose finds a place, this way or that way,

Stay humble, too humble, too let going, too smart this way or that way.

Fade away

Good memories, you stay

You are bringing glittering happiness

Fade away the events which has less to do with happiness.

Let it be forgotten and forgiven and fade away

Fade away prejudices, let the strength gained stay

Fade away partialities, let the equality learnt stay

Fade away arrogance, let the kindness stay closely

Fade away fears, let the fight continue…

Oneness

All acts of violence is cowardice

Never accept it as your fate.

It is the hollow which hardly see oneness

If it hurts you, it hurts others too!

The thought of oneness is universal.

If oneness is taken by all as their mode of living,

Violence, hatred, crime can be awashed from the universe.

Religion, faith, community are cultures, follow it and not to force it.

Intelligence of people are far beyond all these.

Let there be a day to celebrate oneness

It is nothing but humanity,

Just be human, stay human, in the blanket of oneness.

Make, break & Mend

Life has many games to play,

Power plays, success meters, Happiness indices, Critique’s workshops, Sad Endings, Jealousy Bowls.

We welcome these plays same way we welcome our guests at doorstep,

They are as entertaining as guests, with a happening day and parting to meet again hope,

Lifting our souls to a higher self is guaranteed game after game,

We make, we break, still we go on in an ever enduring life, meandering and mending our ways,

Games each second? Who says rat race is bad?!!

It is the only race wherein mainstream existence is challenged each second,

Making, breaking & Mending our ways through life….

Limits & Limitations

Life is only one; then there are many thoughts daily

Daily events are many; so are mundane works

Working hours are rushing; pushing us to our limits

Teacher’s job is blessed; so are various life we touch

Goals are all far reaching; students are to spread their wings

Long way to go before we sleep; limits are fairly nowhere

Filling the space every now and then sparks limitations; which has got very less life

Life is only one; then there are many thoughts daily….
