Travelogue

It used to be pockets of villages nearly 30 to 40 years back in north kerala. Mostly a self sustained community resided in each pocket. Those who were outside this circle, used to be same as current metro population, depending totally on global goods. Since living was tied to a community, many aspects turned sacred, pious and therefore limitations were many. One among is the travelling to places.

Hardly anyone, other than traders, travelled so far.  For ladies and kids it was the travel from home to very nearby fields or places. But, these small trips through plains, fields, small streams, ponds – various kinds of water bodies, and yes offcourse, coconut trees made their travelogue beautiful and most unassuming. How?

Will continue…till then, go back to those memories….have a beautiful day everybody…
